CHOOSE YOUR SCOPE

Packaging supply only, or a coordinated pack-out route

CharacterCraft Gift can make custom printed OPP/CPP bags, backing and header cards, labels, tags, folding or window boxes, formed trays, capsule shells and paper retail displays. When operational work is also required, the agreed pack-out and inspection scope is coordinated with a specialist third-party partner.

TWO SOURCING ROUTES

Choose the responsibility boundary before quotation

The packaging formats can be the same. What changes is who receives the goods, packs them, checks the finished units and releases the cartons.

We organize the packaging specification, sampling and manufacture. The finished packaging components are released for shipment to your nominated receiving or pack-out location.

PACKAGING BY SALES CHANNEL

Start with how the merchandise will be sold and handled

The same product may need a different bag, card, box, insert, label or display when the retail channel and delivery route change.

01

Peg and small-goods retail

Likely direction
Clear bag, backing or header card, product label
Confirm first
Product thickness, hang hole, viewing direction, barcode area and peg size
Common failure
Poor fit, hidden barcode or product tilting on the hook
02

Blind and trading programs

Likely direction
Opaque pouch, blind box, counter display
Confirm first
Opacity, internal SKU identity, assortment ratio and master-carton quantity
Common failure
Contents showing through, SKU mix-ups or ratio differences
03

Capsule-toy programs

Likely direction
Capsule shell, inner bag, folded insert and assortment bag
Confirm first
Product fit, capsule diameter, closure, insert size and ratio
Common failure
Poor fit, shells opening in transit or incorrect size/color allocation
04

Events and launch merchandise

Likely direction
Individual packs, set boxes, destination labels and cartons
Confirm first
Required date, quantity by SKU, venue allocation, carton count and allowance
Common failure
Late packing, destination errors or difficult retail replenishment
05

Ecommerce and warehouse delivery

Likely direction
Protective bag, SKU label, shipper and carton mark
Confirm first
Warehouse intake rules, scan direction, carton dimensions and case number
Common failure
Unreadable labels, intake rejection or transit scuffing
06

Gift and collector editions

Likely direction
Window box, drawer box, formed tray, sleeve and protective shipper
Confirm first
Product retention, surface protection, structure, reveal and included items
Common failure
Product movement, window shift, surface damage or weak presentation

If the sales channel is not fixed, share the likely retail, event, ecommerce or gift route. We can use it to identify the packaging decisions that should be made first.

FROM BRIEF TO DISPATCH

A packaging and pack-out workflow with defined decision gates

Packaging-only orders finish after the release check and shipment. Projects with operational work continue through receiving, pack-out, inspection and carton reconciliation.

01

Define the brief

Product, channel, dimensions, SKUs, quantities, destination and required date

02

Approve packaging

Confirm structure, artwork, printing, finishes, samples and tolerances

03

Receive goods and materials

When pack-out is included, agree receiving method, count and condition checks

04

Pack and assemble

Insert, fold, seal, label or build sets according to the approved instruction

05

Check SKU and quantity

Use the agreed list, reference sample and inspection points to record differences

06

Carton and dispatch

Reconcile carton quantity, labels, destination and required shipment records

RESPONSIBILITY MATRIX

Agree the owner, input and acceptance point for every step

The quotation and work instruction should show which party supplies the goods and data, who performs the task, and how differences are recorded.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Custom packaging FAQ

Yes. Printed bags, backing cards, labels, tags, folding cartons, trays, capsule shells and paper displays can be planned as a packaging-only order. The destination and final packing responsibility are confirmed during quotation.

The packaging direction can be reviewed for small accessories, acrylic goods, pins, keychains, plush items, figures, blind-box collectibles, capsule-toy programs, event merchandise and gift sets. Final feasibility depends on the product dimensions, protection and sales channel.

MOQ is not one universal number. It depends on the packaging format, dimensions, material, printing, finishing, tooling, number of designs, pack-out scope and destination. We confirm it after the specification is reviewed.

We review the finished product dimensions, thickness, weight, hardware and protrusions. Bags also need closure and clearance; boxes and trays need a retention method. A physical sample or confirmed drawing is normally used before mass production.

Blind projects can use opaque or metallic pouches, blind cartons and counter displays. The internal SKU identity, assortment ratio, packing sequence, display quantity and master-carton quantity should be defined before pack-out.

These tasks can be included in an agreed scope with a specialist third-party partner. Before quotation we confirm receiving, work instructions, label data, loss allowance, inspection points, records, carton quantity and destination.

The brand owner is responsible for assigning and managing GTIN or barcode data. We can discuss printing, placement and scan verification using the supplied approved data.

The sample route depends on the packaging structure, print process, finish, product shape and quantity. We define the required structural sample, print proof, fit check or packed reference during quotation.

Not automatically. Sampling level, inspection points, quantity checks, appearance criteria, SKU verification and reporting method must be agreed for each project. We do not apply a universal 100% inspection claim.

Share the product dimensions and weight, sales channel, packaging format, quantity by SKU or design, material direction, artwork status, print and finish needs, label or barcode data, pack-out scope, destination and required date. Unknown items can remain open for project review.
