Custom Capsule Toy Manufacturer & OEM Production
Plan the collectible, OPP bag, folded insert, capsule shell and SKU mix as one production system. We develop multi-design capsule toy series across acrylic, plush, PVC, metal, tinplate, paper goods and more—then confirm fit with a physically packed sample before mass production.

Develop the item
Choose material, structure, artwork, hardware and the number of designs.
Define individual packing
Set the OPP bag, folded insert, fold direction and hardware position.
Confirm capsule fit
Insert, close and remove the production-equivalent packed sample.
Control the assortment
Fix SKU ratios, mixing rules, inspection points and carton markings.
More than figures: build the right collectible for your capsule program
The best product is not only attractive—it must also survive individual packing, fit the selected capsule, remain easy to remove and support the required assortment. We compare materials and structures against the complete packed condition.

Select the shell around the product—not the other way around
Round, clear, colored, egg-shaped, pill-shaped and large capsules can all be considered. The final choice depends on the packed item, machine compatibility, opening, air release, closure and availability.
Existing shell or dedicated tooling?
We first check existing capsule molds and stock formats. For small and medium production volumes, an existing shell is usually the more economical route. A new mold is considered only when shape, size or branding needs justify the tooling investment.
Large-volume reference: around 100,000 to several hundred thousand pieces may make dedicated tooling more practical, but this is not a universal MOQ. Resin, structure, tooling, machine compatibility and order plan must be quoted together.

Round
The practical starting point for many standard projects.

Fully clear
Shows the packed item and insert from every side.

Two-tone
Supports series color coding and stronger shelf presence.

Egg-shaped
Useful for character, seasonal and themed concepts.

Pill-shaped
Fits narrow items and selected folded goods.

Large format
For mini plush, larger parts or multi-piece sets.
Recommended when speed, lower tooling exposure and practical fit are more important than a proprietary capsule shape.
Consider for large repeat programs with a justified shape, size, color or branding requirement. Tooling starts only after feasibility and cost review.

Capsule size is approved using the individually packed physical sample
An item may fit by itself but fail after adding the OPP bag, insert or metal hardware. We therefore confirm the complete production-equivalent pack, not only the drawing dimensions.
Make every design identifiable, packable and mixable
Multi-design capsule programs need more than a lineup image. Each SKU requires an identification rule, individual-packing instruction, assortment ratio and traceable carton plan.

Bag size, seal position, excess material and anti-scratch needs.
Artwork, number of folds, front orientation and legal copy.
Prevent rings, chains or clips from tangling with the item.
Visual marker, label, tray or work instruction for each design.
Planned design mix, tolerance and per-bag or per-carton distribution.
Alignment, tape or lock requirement and recheck method.

From artwork to a production-ready capsule assortment
Every decision is converted into an approved sample and written work instruction before mass production.
Brief & feasibility
Review concept, sizes, quantity, designs, market and target capsule.
Item development
Confirm material, artwork, structure, decoration and hardware.
Packed sample
Add the final OPP and insert, then test capsule fit and closure.
Mass production
Produce by approved sample with material-specific checkpoints.
Assort & pack
Mix SKUs, assemble capsules, recheck and pack into cartons.

Inspect the product first, then verify the finished capsule pack
The inspection point changes with the material. Acrylic surfaces, plush stitching, molded-part decoration, metal plating and tin-badge assembly cannot share one vague “looks good” standard.

Approved sample & limits
Record color, appearance, dimensions, function and packing criteria by SKU.
Material-specific inspection
Check the defect modes relevant to the actual process and substrate.
Pack and closure verification
Confirm OPP, insert, SKU, capsule closure and buyer removal.
Records and segregation
Keep lot, inspection and disposition records; isolate nonconforming pieces.

What to send, and what the factory confirms
You do not need to know the final capsule size before the first review. Send the commercial and product constraints you already have; we will identify the decisions that require a packed sample.
Send your project details →Questions to settle before requesting a capsule toy quote
These answers describe the decision framework. Final MOQ, capsule, tooling, test scope and schedule are confirmed from the actual project specification.
What can you manufacture for custom capsule toys?+
We can develop acrylic goods, plush mascots, molded PVC or ABS pieces, soft PVC accessories, metal charms, zinc-alloy pins, tin badges, washi tape, stickers and mixed-material items. Feasibility depends on the packed dimensions, weight, shape, hardware and target capsule.
How do you choose the capsule size?+
We do not approve a capsule from drawing dimensions alone. We place the production-equivalent item, OPP bag, folded insert and hardware into an empty capsule, then confirm insertion, closure and removal. The capsule is fixed when the packed sample is approved.
Can one series contain several designs or SKUs?+
Yes. We can plan a multi-design series and document the assortment ratio, SKU identification, mixing method and carton packing. The final ratio and acceptable tolerance are agreed before mass production.
Do the items go directly into the capsule?+
The normal project can include individual OPP packing plus a designed folded leaflet before capsule assembly. The exact fold, bag size and hardware direction are included in the packing specification because they affect capsule fit.
Can the capsule shell also be customized?+
We first check suitable existing shells, colors and formats. Existing shells are usually more economical for small and medium volumes. For large programs—often around 100,000 to several hundred thousand pieces—a dedicated shell may become practical, but tooling cost and feasibility require a project quotation.
What affects MOQ?+
MOQ depends on the product material, number of designs, decoration process, hardware, capsule availability, packing method and assortment plan. We quote the collectible and the capsule-assembly scope after reviewing the complete specification.
How is quality checked?+
We define acceptance points by material, then inspect the standalone product, individual packing, insert, SKU identity, capsule closure and carton markings. Sampling scope and defect handling are agreed before mass production.
What should I send for a quotation?+
Please send artwork or reference images, target item size, number of designs, expected quantity, target market, preferred capsule if known, required OPP or insert, desired launch date and any machine or retail constraints.
